Future is the Present

I was doing a little thinking today, about a person, when a little thought popped into my head ... does the choices and actions we make today determine our future or does our future determine the choices and actions we make today?

If I'm not wrong I think a lot of people, including myself, have always thought the former to be true but  I am starting to think that maybe in some instances, the choices and actions made many years ago were determined by a future that nobody could forsee.

Just a little thought.

Just a note about why this image is upside down ... guess I'm just trying to show that in the end all the
 little paths and steps we take eventually will take us to one point in life in which pre-determined each
 and every little step we chose along the way... though the word chose may not be the right one to use...
maybe 'take' would be a more suitable "choice".

Sometimes a whisper may not seem much but when it's heard only by you and nobody else then it becomes something special.

But sometimes you may not want to overhear a whisper not meant for you ... then it would become a chinese whisper ... and we know what the outcome of that is.

Season Confusion

My garden is a little confused, flowers still blooming ... bees full of pollen still buzzing around.  My rose bush that we planted 4 years ago has never flowered (probably due to my lack of green fingers) has produced it's first bud ... it's not too pretty but it's a bud all the same.  Two weeks into Autumn and we are still enjoying a bit of Summer weather.

Happy birthday Maddy! ... my hopes and dreams for you is the same as all the other mothers in this world ... grow with good health..happy mind..kind heart..and most of all never be afraid to chase your dreams.

Publishing this a day after her actual birthday, as inspiration is a funny thing, when it hits the urge to get it done is instant ... felt this urge at 10.30pm yesterday so spent the next two hours creating it then uploading to Vimeo ... who took a while to start the conversion ... hence a day late.

Dreams over Fear?

This quote which was a PS brush that Carol Hart offered to her contacts for download provoked me to think "Would I?", well after some serious thought I think "no", no has been my answer for such a long long time, I'm not an adventurous person, not one to try something new or alien.  I realise now that for me, dreams and fear does go hand in hand, one does not go without the other, the uncertainty, the unknown, the expectation...all adds up to at least a little bit of fear whenever we want to venture into our dreams, well mine anyway.

Thank you Carol for inspiring this post ... have been a little lacking in the inspiration department of late, so any help is very much appreciated.
