Those Moments

Taken at the Hunter Valley Gardens 2011

Sometimes, there are 'moments' in our lives when something or someone will trigger a switch in our minds that makes us want to take that walk down memory lane...for me the easiest avenue is plug in one of my older hard drives and click through my photos folders...when my switch got triggered today I found a folder from Easter 2011, a short break we took with my extended family.  A time when my kids still had their baby fat, today they are taller, leaner and meaner.

' SOMETIMES YOU WILL NEVER KNOW THE TRUE
VALUE OF A MOMENT UNTIL IT BECOMES A MEMORY '

How true are these words...to think as I'm typing these words that by the time I finish this blog, this will become memory...memory that will be stored away until one day I'm feeling nostalgic again.

When you have a moment...never forget to reminisce a little...it's well worth the effort...may well bring a smile to your face.

  1. Beautiful images and such good advice! Feeling nostalgic as my youngest just moved out of state to attend grad school...I may take your advice and go through my archives tomorrow!

  2. These are beautiful images, Jessica, and such true words you've written. I wish my old hard drive had not of stopped working, I would plug it in right now and flip through my photos, especially ones of my nephew when he was a baby. Not even two months.

    1. Hey Andrea...tell me about it, I just had a hard drive malfunction scare the other night, plugged it in....made a whirring noise for about 5 seconds then totally went quiet and would not load. Luckily took it to my husband's comp and it loaded...think it's on it's last legs.

Babies change so much in the first year, maybe you could take the dead hard drive (if you still have it) to a tech person and they may be able to retrieve the files on the drive, you never know..my husband did that with one of my older portable HDs and retrieved most of the stuff on it. Good luck.

Thanks for popping in. Jess x
